Welcome aboard Pinar111 in the late afternoon around 15.00pm. The service will start with dinner. Evening meal and overnight in Fethiye harbour. Modern Fethiye is located on the site of the ancient city of Telmessos, the ruins of which can be seen in the city, e.g. the Hellenistic theatre by the main quay. Telmessos was the most important city of Lycia, with a recorded history starting in the 5th century BC.

After breakfast and briefing Pinar111  will sail to Butterfly Valley. The valley is situated at the foothill of Babadağ, a 1,975 m (6,480 ft) high mountain nominated for preservation as world heritage. A wide-strip sand beach at a bay on the Turkish Riviera protrudes from the valley. In the form of a narrow canyon stretching over around 3 – 4 km (1.9 – 2.5 mi), the valley’s steep walls are 350 – 400 m (1,150 – 1,310 ft) high. A trail in the valley leads to two small waterfalls dropping from 60 m (200 ft) all the year around. In the middle of the valley, a creek runs, carrying water from a spring in nearby Faralya village to the sea. A road from Oludeniz to Uzunyurt, which is part of the Lycian Way Ultramarathon route, runs atop the rocks around the valley.
Next stop will be Oludeniz. Oludeniz (literally Dead Sea, due to its calm waters even during storms; official translation name Blue Lagoon) is a small village and beach resort in the Fethiye district, at the conjunction point of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. It is located 14 km (9 mi) to the south of Fethiye, near Mount Babadag. Oludeniz remains one of the most photographed beaches on the Mediterranean. It has a secluded sandy bay at the mouth of Oludeniz, on a blue lagoon. The beach itself is a pebble beach. The lagoon is a national nature reserve and construction is strictly prohibited. The seawater of Oludeniz is famous for its shades of turquoise and aquamarine, while its beach is an official Blue Flag beach, frequently rated among the top 5 beaches in the world by travelers and tourism journals alike.
After Oludeniz Pinar111 will sail to Gemiler Island (Saint Nicholas Island) for the night. The island is located near the city of Fethiye. On the island are the remains of several churches built between the fourth and sixth centuries AD, along with a variety of associated buildings. Archaeologists believe it was the location of the original tomb of Saint Nicholas.

An early start for Kalkan, for breakfast and time to swim in this quiet bay surrounded by olive groves. Then Pinar111 is off to Kaş (pronounced ‘Kash’) a small fishing, diving, yachting and tourist town, and a district of Antalya Province of Turkey, 168 km west of the city of Antalya. As a tourist resort, it is relatively unspoilt. After exploring the town we will sail to a near bay to spend the night.

After breakfast Pinar111 will sail and visit Kaleköy. (literally “Castle’s village” in Turkish; Simena) This is a village of the Demre district in the Antalya Province of Turkey, located between Kaş and Demre, on the Mediterranean coast. Kaleköy faces the island of Kekova, and can be reached by sea or on foot from Üçağız. The village lies amidst a Lycian necropolis, which is partially sunken underwater. Kaleköy is overlooked by a Byzantine castle, built in the Middle Ages to fight the pirates which nested in Kekova. The castle contains a small theatre.A short cruise along the Mediterranean coast to the ruins at Kekova the Sunken City. The night is spent in the wide bay surrounded by green hills, at nearby Gokkaya.
